The Matariki story

pikelet

On Tuesday the block made pikelets. We split up into our reading groups then we made some pikelets. Then we had to go outside to do the staff on the pan. Then we had to take a table outside to put the pan on. Then we put some oil in the pan. I was the first person to get a pikelet i put some nutella and some little chocolate chips ones everyone was finished there first one we got to get another one then wen miss scalene class was almost finished me and hinemoa got to go all the way over to miss szymanik’s class i went in her class and gave her two pikelet`s there was nutella on one , jam on the other then me and hinemoa ran so so fast. The coolest part was eating the pikelet.

Zoo Trip

On Thursday it was a sunny day and the block went to the Auckland zoo.We had to wait for a little while then the bus arrived at  pt England school. Then we walked to the buses in our groups. Then we got in the buses and then we sat down on the sets I sat next to my best friend gabby. Then I went to sleep on the bus. Then we got to the zoo then we got out of the bus groups there was a lady that walked us around she was a girl we had a meeting then we left of in to our groups. I was in Madisons mum's group. We went to the Austin side we sore two cheetahs the other cheetah was laying down on something that looked like there bed. Then we sore the pekineses there was only baby monkeys there was no big won. Then we had some morning tea after morning tea we went to sea the elephants the elephants are so so big. Then we sore the monkey's that make loud noises then we went to the bus then on the way back to school we were sing Kenyan  did not like the singing then we arrived back at school then we went to the class then we watched a movie called Shrek when the bell went after that we went home.

Catapult

On monday the block made catapults we made them with popsicle sticks and sellotape.We got six each you had to get two popsicle sticks out of the six and put then.There was three left then you had to get that three and put them together.Then we had to wate untall the wall opened when the wall opened.The frist one i shote was mr moran then it was girls vs boys.

My Flying Bird

Mufti Day And Wheels Day

On Friday at Lunchtime all the kids and teachers were in there mufti. We got to go on our wheels for a fundraiser for the year 8 camp. We had fun in the playground at Pt England School. There were people on scooters and people on roller skates and people on skateboards and some people on the school bikes having fun.

First we had to put our wheels in a corner in our classrooms

Next when it was morning tea we go to ride our wheels

After that when it was lunch

Family it was the end of the day
